Department of Food, Nutrition and Hospitality Scholarships
DM&A CDM, CFPP Credential Grant
The Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation (NFEF) is offering a grant opportunity to healthcare or senior care food service employees who have two years or more of leadership experience and are accepted into (or are currently enrolled in) an ANFP-Approved Training Program with the DM&A CDM, CFPP Credential Grant.
The grant recipient will receive awarded funds up to $1,776 in the form of a credit in the recipient’s online account at www.ANFPonline.org that will include:
- A credit of $225 towards ANFP textbooks (guaranteed)
- A credit of $425 towards the CDM, CFPP Credentialing Exam registration fees (guaranteed)
- A credit of up to $65 towards one year of Pre-Professional Membership to ANFP (guaranteed)
- A credit of up to $811 towards enrollment/tuition fees into an ANFP-approved training program (or up to $1,061 if the recipient does not utilize the optional credit for exam preparation materials outlined below). Credit amount not to exceed the cost of ANFP-approved training program.
- A credit of $250 towards ANFP exam preparation materials (optional)
The application window will open September 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024 – all award notices will be made by December 31, 2024.

The Northwest Ohio Restaurant Association Scholarship
The Northwest Ohio Restaurant Association Scholarship is available for part-time or full-time students pursuing a certificate or degree in culinary, hospitality or related field at an accredited post-secondary institution with preference to schools located in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This scholarship is renewable for 3 additional years after the initial award (4 years total), provided the student meets the renewal conditions.
