The Owens Culinary School will prepare you with the techniques and knowledge you need for the food service industry.
You will gain essential skills in baking, pastry, gourmet cooking, fine dining and important culinary techniques that will position you for success.
About the Owens Culinary Arts Certificate
The Owens Culinary Arts Certificate give you hands-on experience in both baking and cooking, kitchen management and catering/banquet operations.
Students in this certificate are trained for entry-level positions in food preparation and service in hotels, restaurants, commercial and private caterers, institutions and resorts.
You will learn skills in baking & pastry, international cuisines, fine dining, gourmet cooking and a robust education in culinary techniques.
The Owens Culinary Arts Certificate will give you experiences in kitchen skills, kitchen staff training, banquet operations and catering.
Students are eligible to receive the Certified Culinarian (CC) credential from the American Culinary Federation, www.acfchefs.org, upon certificate completion and completion of one year industry experience.
Credits earned in this certificate may be applied toward the Culinary Arts Program, AAS (Owens Code: CAPP).
